Scouting has a fascinating history filled with adventure and excitement.  The Heritage Collection is filled with photographs, letters and objects which help tell the story.  Explore these pages for advice on how to progress research into the history of Scouting or how to look after your own collection of Scouting history.


If you would like to find out more about the story of Scouting then the Heritage Service runs an enquiry service and we can assist with research and advice on how to progress with your project. 


Many Scouts, groups and individuals, collect memorabilia which tells the story of their Scouting life.  The Heritage Service has put together some basic collections care advice on looking after these items, whether it’s a camp blanket filled with badges or photo albums and camp log books in the future they could help others understand your Scouting journey.
