Contributing to Scouting's Heritage

There are two main ways to contribute to the story of Scouting’s Heritage, these are donating items to the Collection or volunteering your time, knowledge and enthusiasm.

Donating to the Collection

Stored away in your attic may be items which could help us tell the story of Scouting to future generations.  Whether it’s a project completed for a badge, photographs of activities and fun, documents relating to Scout groups or rare and wonderful memorabilia it may help fill a gap in our Collection.  If you think you may have something that could help tell Scouting's story then please visit our donations page to find out more.

Donating your time

The Heritage Team is looking for volunteers to help us make the Collection more accessible.  Over the next few months we are going to be developing a series of volunteer roles varying from documenting the Collection, researching Scouting stories, photographing artefacts and developing resources for groups to use.  If this sounds like something you may be interested in then please visit the volunteering page to find out more.
